We have seen so many brides (and grooms) wearing customized jackets on their wedding day lately. Whether the jackets are leather, vegan leather or denim we can't get over how beautiful they look in wedding photos.
We are pretty sure that a lot of thought and care was put into designing and creating those jackets and we hope that they are being stored in a garment bag before and after the wedding day. Did you know that most of our garment bags can be personalized using paint pens?
We have garment bags in a few different materials, sizes and colours.
DIY supply list - we used this garment bag, a white Stabilo pencil and white Sharpie paint markers.
Step 1. Lightly sketch out a rough design using the Stabilo pencil.
Step 2. Trace over your sketch using the paint markers. You might want to use a few different sizes of paint markers depending on your design. If you have a lot of solid areas to fill in use a larger tip.
Step 3. You may want to add in finer details to your design using an extra fine point marker.
Once the paint is completely dry you can use a dry cloth or eraser to remove the pencil marks.
Make it your own by adding your name.
Wouldn't these personalized garment bags be a wonderful keepsake for your bridal party's clothing as well?!
Did you know that we are hosting a giveaway on Instagram to win the garment bag and the customized jacket shown above along with a number of other products and services from some local wedding vendors? You can find all of the information and rules about the contest that ends on Sunday August 18, 2019 on our original #loveisintheair giveaway Instagram post.
