It’s wrapping season and for the next few weeks we are going
to show you some creative gift wrapping ideas for everyone on your holiday
list!
Have you been invited to a holiday party? Looking for some
hostess gift ideas? We teamed up with Bake Sale Toronto to create some edible hostess
gift ideas that we think you are going to want to recreate.

Keep it simple with a glass container and gingerbread cookies. We filled the container with coarse sugar and tucked the cookies
inside. Tie a festive ribbon like this one around the container and finish with
a bow. Get creative and add a hand lettered chalkboard to the container …

Gift Wrapping Tip: Add the ribbon to the glass container
before you fill it with coarse sugar.
Disposable wood trays are a cost-effective option for holiday
entertaining and hostess gift packaging. This clear top wood tray/box was
filled with jam thumbprints, chocolate chip shortbread, candy cane drops and
star shortbread cookies from Bake Sale Toronto and would make a great hostess gift!

We created a protective tray liner by laminating buffalo plaid wrapping paper so that the cookies would have a festive backdrop.
White Sharpie paint markers were used to add a hand lettered message to the acrylic top. Add your own message or copy ours by tracing the lettering printable in the download at the end of this post.
These decorative sugar and gingerbread cookies are almost
too cute to eat!
Gift Wrapping Tip: If you want to add a ribbon to the box
like we did - make sure to position your lettering on the acrylic top to include
space for the ribbon.
Stay tuned for more sweet gift wrapping ideas!
